
AYSO is an all volunteer organization. Every season, we need coaches, referees, schedulers, coordinators, and other fun positions to help make soccer a positive experience in the lives of the children of the Carson Valley!
Our season can only be successful with volunteers. If there aren't enough coaches, our kids can't play. Without referees, games get canceled. We simply cannot start a season without enough volunteers to run the games safely. There are many ways you can help, and it isn't as overwhelming as you may think. Board Members
Each region is required to have a Board of Directors in order to run a successful soccer program. Planning and organizing for each season is a year round effort.
If you are at all interested and would at least like to ask a few questions, please email our Regional Commissioner, Linda McHale ([email protected]). We are in need of the following board member positions:Uniform and Equipment Manager (order uniforms and equipment and distribute to coaches)
Treasurer (keep track of all revenues and expenses and keep us on budget)
Coach Administrator (organize coach meetings and trainings, ensure online trainings are complete, organize and distribute training material)

Coaching is a blast! We provide training. If you volunteer to coach you pick your practice locations/days/times!

Referees
We pride ourselves on AYSO certified referees. It's a fun way to get involved in the game and to keep it "fun, fair, and safe". Referees are vital for age groups 10U and above. A referee helps kids learn the game and what's allowed and not allowed. Think of this as a teaching position, rather than a policing position. Please please we need referees, consider signing up, we will train you!
