The Fall Season is the regular season for Carson Valley AYSO. Practice will begin mid August, games typically begin in September, and the season ends in the middle of October. 

Referee Requirements
6U : Coaches help guide the players during the game.

8U : The home team is to provide the referee. 8U referees are given a black or yellow referee t-shirt after completion of the three hour 8U Referee Clinic and Safe Haven.

10U, 12U, 14U and 16U : The home team is to provide the center referee and one assistant (side) referee.

The visiting team provides one assistant (side) referee. The center referee needs to be certified as at least a regional referee.

Cookies Best Tournament
A tournament is held at the end of the fall season for the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U divisions. The winner of this tournament represents Carson Valley (Region 318) at the Cookies Best Tournament in Carson City. Kit Carson All-Star Tournament
All-Star teams are selected for the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U.  These teams begin training after the regular Fall season ends and represent Carson Valley (Region 318) at the All-Star tournament in Carson City.  For more information on Cookies Best Tournament please go to the Kit Carson All-Star Tournament Page.

Playground and Schoolyard
Leader meeting -  August 15, 6-7:30pm at Douglas County Community Center
Meet and Greet with families - August 26th at Ranchos Aspen Park
Activities Sessions begin - September 9th at Ranchos Aspen Park (time TBD)
Final Session - October 14th at Ranchos Aspen Park

6U and 8U
Field training (optional but super helpful) - August 4th in the evening in Carson City
Coach meeting -  August 10th, 6-7:30pm at Douglas County Community Center
Games begin -  August 26th at Ranchos Aspen Park
Final games - October 21st at Ranchos Aspen Park

10U/12U/14U
Required coach field training - August 5th, classroom and field training (all day) in Carson City
Coach meeting -  August 9th, 6-7:30pm at Douglas County Community Center
Games begin - August 19th at Ranchos Aspen Park
Final Regional games - October 14th, Regional year end tournament to decide who goes to Cookies Tournament (the best of each division proceeds to Cookies)
Cookies Tournament - TBD in Carson City (Edmonds Sports Complex)

All-Stars
10/12/14U - if coaches are interested in coaching an all-star team, please reach out early.  The All-Star tournament happens mid November in Carson City at the Edmonds Sports Complex.
